According to Dawn, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was injured in a shooting on his container during his long march in Wazirabad. Unknown gunmen opened fire on Imran Khan’s container close to Wazirabad’s Allah Ho Chowk.
Senator Faisal Javed of Khan’s party PTI too was harmed in the shooting. As according to reports, Khan has a leg injury and has been taken to a hospital.
Imran Khan got a bullet wound when an unknown shooter started firing on the truck carrying him while he was attempting to hold a protest rally in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Fawad Chaudhry, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claims that three additional leaders also sustained injuries.
The gunman has not been identified, but he was immediately arrested after opening fire on the rally Imran Khan was leading.
